Sloper Design Form

Units:
Neck Circumfrence:Measure around your neck.
Width Between Shoulders:Measure the distance between your shoulders.
Bust/Chest Circumfrence :Measure around the fullest portion of the bust/chest.
Waist Circumfrence:Measure around your natural waist.
Hips:Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Generally 7 to 9 inches below your natural waist.
Upper Arm:Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm.
Wrist:Measure around your wrist.
Shoulder Slant:Place a ruler at the base of neck horizontal with floor. Measure the gap between the shoulder and the ruler at the outside edge.
Back Neck to Waist:Measure from the bone at the base of the back of your neck down to your natural waist.
Back Neck to Wrist:Bend your arm slightly. Measure from the bone at the base of the back of your neck over the outside edge of the arm down to your wrist.
Underarm to Wrist:Measure from your underarm to your wrist.
Underarm to Waist:Measure from your underarm to your natural waist.
Chest to Waist:Measure from the center of your chest to your natural waist.
Waist to Hips:Measure from your natural waist to your hips.

Press the generate button to see your sloper. Because the image is so large, it may not display correctly in your browser. All is well; it will still print correctly. Do not print it from your browser window. Instead, right click on the image and save it. Then print it from your graphics software. You want to be sure to print it at 300 dots per inch (DPI.)

The sloper is done in 1/8th scale. Each square represents one inch or two centimeters. Once you print it, you can use colored pencils to sketch your sweater designs.
